Balsfjord is large enough for four people and has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The lounge has two comfortable sofas, with a lovely view out over Inverkirkaig bay. The kitchen has a cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave, and a table with seating for four.
The log cabin overlooks the sea which is less than 50 metres away. Inverkirkaig is very quiet and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing holiday or as a centre for walking, cycling, mountaineering, bird watching, loch and sea fishing etc.

Summer holidays are fantastic with long light evenings and early dawns. In winter the cabin is warm and cosy; the days are short and the sky can be crystal clear with fabulous views of the Milky Way and very occasionally the northern lights.
